McDade Travel is owned and operated by two people with a history of luxury travel and extensive experience and contacts in the hospitality industry. Heinke and Neil McDade lived in London, Tokyo, New York, Paris, Brussels, Geneva, Kuwait, and Frankfurt before settling in Roanoke, Virginia in 1978. In 1985 they formed McDade Travel to fill a need in luxury, international travel services. The goal of the company is to provide an unsurpassed first class service in deluxe travel for sophisticated clients. Each trip is designed specifically for a client and their family.
